Jim’s experience comes long before ever donning an Anewalt’s shirt. Growing up, Jim helped maintain his family’s ten acre homestead and also operated “Village Lawn & Garden”. His vast experience and certification come from all aspects of the Green Industry. Most recently, Jim celebrated becoming an ISA Certified Arborist and has earned the distinguished CLT-E, Certified Landscape Technician PCH, and Pennsylvania Certified Horticulturist certifications.

Jim belongs to the PLNA, the Pennsylvania Landscape Nursery Association, the ISA, International Society of Arboriculture Member Penn Del Chapter, and the BCCTC, Berks County Career & Technology Center, Horticultural Planning Board Member.

At Anewalt’s, Jim is known as the Plant Doctor as he oversees and ensures proper watering, fertilization, pruning, and listing of plant inventory. With his expertise, Jim also directs the Plant Health Care Division of Anewalt’s. He proactively recruits new sale opportunities to help drive the business and maintain the high quality of Anewalt’s work.
